Gluten-Free Simple Braided Bread Recipe

Materials:

330 g MADER all-purpose gluten-free flour, 10 g dry yeast or 15 g fresh yeast, 175 ml milk, 100 g sugar, 1 egg, 1 pinch of salt, 50 g melted margarine or butter, Optional coarse sugar, 1 for topping cream mixed with egg yolk

Gluten Free Simple Knit Bread Preparation:

Dissolve the fresh yeast in warm water (40 degrees maximum). You can also use a microwave oven for this process. Make a well in the middle of the flour, drop the yeast and add a pinch of sugar. Mix it with your fingers and sprinkle some flour on it. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes in a warm place. When cracks begin to form on its surface, add the remaining ingredients and mix. Cover with a damp cloth and leave to stand for 15 minutes in a warm place. After 45 minutes, divide the dough into 3 parts and roll it into 3 strips of equal length. Braid the strands, cover them and let them rest. Brush the egg and cream mixture on top and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 20 minutes. Tip: you can add currants or other dried fruit to the dough for a different taste.
